Profurl first developed its headsail reefing-furling system in 1980, when it was known as ProEngin. The company quickly became the reference and world leader in this area.

The most popular range is the manual cruising system. From 5m to 30m boats.

The range benefits from carbon steel bearings ball bearings. All but two of the units the drum is removable by simply undoing 4 screws to allow the foil to be used as a more traditional twin groove system.
